He wrote on Instagram, ‘After being on the field for more than two decades, now the time has come to say goodbye to this beautiful game.’ Piyush Chawla played 3 Tests, 25 ODIs and 7 T20 matches for India. He took a total of 43 wickets.

On the retirement of Piyush Chawla, Yuvraj Singh posted social media a passionate posting for him and wrote, ‘I have played with many colleagues in the last few years, but very few people have shown flexibility and dedication that #Piyushchawla showed in the field.
