Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant on Saturday congratulated Aiden Markram, who won South Africa by 5 wickets by scoring a brilliant century in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia. South Africa ended the 27 -year ICC title drought with this victory and won the WTC title for the first time.

Pant, who was the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL), made a great coordination with Markram and Nicholas Puran this season. Although LSG could not reach the playoffs, Puran (524 runs) and Markram (445 runs) performed brilliantly.
