According to his LinkedIn profile, he was born on 18 August 1986. He has been a marketing and revenue head of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the last two years. Sosale is actually an employee of Diageo India for 13 years, which operates United Spirits Limited (USL). The USL is the owner of RCB.

RCB was owned by Vijay Mallya earlier, but after Mallya escaped from the country, the USL took full responsibility of the team. Nikhil has also been a business partnership head in the first RCB. On 5 June, an FIR was lodged against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), DNA Entertainment Network (which was the event company), Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and other unknown people at Kaban Park Police Station in connection with the death of 11 people and injuries.

In this case, CM CM Siddaramaiah held the police responsible for the Bengaluru stampede. After which many officers including the police commissioner were suspended. Later, Karnataka IPS officer Seemaant Kumar Singh was appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Bengaluru. On June 5, RCB had announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the families of 11 supporters who lost their lives in the stampede.

On June 6, the news came that the police arrested Nikhil Sosh, a marketing head of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This was first arrested by the police in the stampede case before the RCB’s Victory Parade in Bangalru on June 4. Three DNA staff members Kiran, Sumanth and Sunil Mathew were detained by the police.
