What is the new BCCI rule?
According to the current method, each player undergoes a bone test for age determination through the Tw3 method and a ‘1 factor’ is added to determine his eligibility in the same age group in the next season. However, according to the new rule, under-16 level players will have to undergo another bone test to decide the eligibility in the next season, if the ‘1 factor’ excludes them last year.

Big information surfaced
A BCCI source told PTI, “This is being done to achieve accurate age and to ensure that no player lost due to arithmetic calculations instead of scientific calculations. This means that a player’s age should be 16.4 or less in male cricketers in the next season and 14.9 or less for participation in women’s case.
