According to the rules of new catching, now the fielder ball posted on the boundary line can catch a catch by bouncing the ball outside the boundary rope only once.

Now if the fielder caught such catch, it will be considered illegal

Explain that after the implementation of the new rules, if the fielder posted on the boundary line, bounted the ball in the air twice outside the boundary and brought it inside the boundary rope, then that catch would be considered illegal. According to the earlier rules, the fielder could go outside the boundary and bounce the ball several times in the air, provided it was in the air when it came in contact with the ball. However, now the fielder will be allowed to bounce the ball only once.
