New rule in ODIs too … Different captains of all three formats, deadly all-rounder got command

Now a board has made three different captains for three formats. The board announced the new captain for the ODI. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has given the team command to the best all -rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj in ODI format. Litton Das in T20 while Najmul in Test will be the captain of the team.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed all -rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj as the captain of the men’s ODI (ODI) team for the next 12 months. The 27 -year -old Miraj will command the team from the three -match ODI series to be held in Sri Lanka next month and Najmul Hussain will replace Shanto. Miraj, who performed well with both bat and ball, has already experienced leadership responsibilities. In the absence of Shantio, he has captained Bangladesh in four ODIs.

How is ODI career?

Currently, in the ICC rankings, Miraj, ranked fourth among the ODI all -rounders, has scored 1617 runs and 110 wickets in 105 ODIs. He has joined a specific club of Bangladeshi players. Along with veterans like Mohammad Rafiq, Mashrafe Murtaza and Shakib Al Hasan, who have completed 1000 runs and 100 wickets in ODIs.
