ICC Hall of Fame 2025: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team, has received great honor. He has been included in the ICC Hall of Fame. It was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday. He is the 11th player from India to join the ICC Hall of Fame. Before them, legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have also received this honor. Apart from Dhoni, 6 other players have also been honored.
Honors to these veterans too
Former Australia opener Matthew Hayden, former South African captain Graeme Smith, former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori, former South African batsman Hashim Amla have also been included in the hall of fame. Apart from these, former Pakistan woman cricketer Sana Mir has also been included in the ICC Hall of Fame. She is the first female player in her country to get this honor. Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor has also been honored.

Dhoni superhit from ODI to20 to Test
Dhoni is the only captain to win three big tournaments in Limited over cricket. He won India in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013. Not only this, Team India reached the first place in the ICC Test rankings for the first time while Dhoni.

What did Dhoni say?
Dhoni, who played 538 matches in all three formats for India after being honored by the ICC, scored 17,266 runs. During this, 829 hunted. On being included in the ICC Hall of Fame, the former Indian captain said, “It is an honor to be nominated in the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognizes the contribution of various generations and cricketers from all over the world. Remembering your name with such all -time great players is a wonderful feeling. This is something that I will always cherish. ”
