According to a PTI report, India will host New Zealand in January 2026. Three ODIs and 5 T20 matches will be played during this period. The series will begin on 11 January and will end on 31 January. The first ODI will be played in Vadodara on 11 January. At the same time, the last match of the T20 series on 31 January will be in Thiruvananthapuram.

Third International Stadium in Vadodara

After 15 years in Vadodara, the Indian men’s cricket team will play an international match. The last time in 2010, the match was held with New Zealand at the Reliance Stadium here. In that match, the current coach Gautam Gambhir scored a century and the player of the match was made. Virat Kohli scored 63 runs. Team India has also played three ODIs at Moti Bagh Stadium in Vadodara. No matches have been held here after 1988. Now Team India will land in the third stadium in the city. Its name is Kotambi Stadium. Here the Indian women’s cricket team played two ODIs in December 2024.

Series are also going to be held from Bangladesh-Australia

Currently, Team India is present for the five -match Test series in England. The first Test will be played in the headingley of Leeds from 20 June.
