When Kapil captained in 3 Tests, Imran took command in 8. Apart from him, Wasim Akram, Misbah ul Haq, Salman Butt and Javed Miandad have also won 2-2 matches as captain in England.

Indian captain who won the series in England

So far in England, India has succeeded in winning the Test series three times. In 1971, Team India was successful under the captaincy of Ajit Wadekar. India won the series 1-0 with a historic victory at The Oval. Kapil Dev won after Wadekar. He defeated England 2–0 in 1986. Team India won in Lord’s and Leeds. Rahul Dravid won Team India in the series in 2007. He is the third captain to name the series on the soil of England.
