The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a competition by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final of 2025. In this final released at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first. That is, in the final, RCB came out to bat first.

After winning the toss, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer said, ‘We are going to bowl. I just want to give positive signs to my mind and body. Our players are in great form and mindset. We said the same thing in the team meeting that the better you will be, the better it will be. This is the final and we will play like the final. Thinking about lifting the trophy is a great feeling. There is no change in our team.

Rajat Patidar said during the toss, ‘We were also going to bowl. The pitch looks hard. We will try to make a good score and bring them under pressure. Till now we have played excellent cricket. This is another game for us. This is a big platform but as I said that this is another way for us. We are going with the same team. I think it is a flat track, which has a mixture of red and black soil.
