Gautam Gambhir Mother Cardiac arrest: A big news related to the Indian cricket team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir is coming out. His mother Seema Gambhir has been arrested for cardiac. As soon as Gambhir came to know about this, he has returned to India from England. According to reports, the incident took place on 11 June. Gambhir will now join Team India again on 17 June.

Gambhir also returned to India due to family emergency on the last Australian tour. Keep in mind that the England tour for Gambhir is very important for Gambhir after Australian tour and New Zealand series. The 5 -match Test series against England starts on June 20.

In the absence of Gambhir, assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeshe will take over the responsibility of head coach during the four-day practice match between India and Bharat-A starting on Friday. He will get help from other coaching staff like bowling coach Morne Morkel and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak.

Gautam Gambhir became the head coach of Team India after the T20 World Cup 2024. He replaced Rahul Dravid. Gautam Gambhir retired from international cricket on 4 December 2018. Gambhir played his last Test for India in Rajkot in 2016 in Rajkot. Gambhir scored 4154 runs in 58 Tests at an average of 41.95, including nine centuries.

Gambhir scored 5238 runs in 147 ODIs with 39.68 averages. It also includes a memorable innings of 97 runs played in the 2011 World Cup final, due to which India captured the World Cup for the second time. He played 11 century innings in ODIs. Gambhir also made his mark in T20 International matches. He scored 932 runs in 37 matches with the help of seven half -centuries, with his average of 27.41.
