WTC Final Prize Money 2023-25: In the final of the World Test Championship, South Africa defeated Australia at Lord’s Lord’s. This was the third edition of the tournament. New Zealand in 2021 and Australia in 2023 won the title. Both defeated India in the final. This time the Kangaroo team came out to defend the title, but had to face defeat. On the other hand, South Africa was eyeing for the first time since 1998 to win an ICC Trophy. He defeated the kangaroos in the final. Earlier, he had won the ICC Knocout Trophy last time.
Heavy prize money
Along with the iconic trophy, Australia-South Africa also had a big prize money. All nine teams participating in the 2023-25 World Test Championship cycle were given a big cash amount by the ICC. In total, the ICC had decided to spend $ 5.76 million (about Rs 49.24 crore) as prize money.
Got so much money on winning finals
South Africa has been given $ 3.6 million (about 30.78 crore rupees) for becoming the winner. The runner -up Australia had to be content with $ 2.16 million (about Rs 18.56 crore). India failed to reach the finals for the first time. This time it has received $ 1.44 million (about Rs 12.13 crore).

Increase in prize money
The prize money for the 2023–25 edition saw a huge increase in compared to the last two versions. The total prize money in 2021 and 2023 was $ 3.8 million (about 32.49 crores). The winners (New Zealand and Australia) received $ 1.6 million (about Rs 13.68 crore), while runner -up (India) received $ 0.8 million (about Rs 7.6 crore) on both occasions.

New World Test Championship cycle starts
The 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle will begin on 20 June on 20 June (14 June) on Saturday (June 14). This time the first series will be between India and England. Both teams will be invited in the 5-match Test series from June 20.
