Harbhajan Singh said at the Vidarbha T20 League event, ‘Gill is the new captain and the team is quite young. It does not contain Rohit, Virat, Pujara or even Ajinkya Rahane. This is going to be challenging, but I hope that our young players will take advantage of this opportunity and perform well. Just because they do not win immediately, it does not mean that we start criticizing them. The team still needs support. They are going through a transitional phase. A new team, a new era and I hope it will prove to be a successful phase for Indian cricket.

Sai Sudarshan’s advice on number-3

For the number three position, Bhajji said, ‘I think Sai Sudarshan should play at number three. He is a left -handed batsman, is in excellent form and recently he has performed brilliantly in the IPL. His technology is good and I believe he can be the right choice for this position.
