Puneri Bappa’s wicketkeeper Suraj Shinde surprised everyone with a sensational run out.

Wicketkeeper’s super throw

Suraj Shinde did amazing against Raigad Royals. Shinde’s throw initially scattered the gills at the striker and, but by then the batsman had reached the crease. This was followed by an incredible turn. The ball hit the stump at one end and went to the other end with the stumps of non-strayer and at the other end. This meant that non-strayer was run out.

Stealing single

The incident took place in the very first over of the second innings of the match. Puneri Bappa gave Raigad Royals a target of 203 runs. On the fifth ball of the over, striker Siddhesh Veer tried to push the ball towards the on-side and steal a sharp single. Wicketkeeper Suraj Shinde performed a sharp throw from behind the stumps after collecting the ball. It was a matter of good luck for Siddhesh Veer that he had returned to his crease on time. However, his opening partner Harsh Mogvira was unfortunate and was run out. The ball hit the non-strayer and stumps.

After batting, wicketkeeping dominated

Suraj Shinde had scored 40 runs in just 12 balls in that match. After this, he was surprised by running out. His team Puneri Bappa won the match by 99 runs. However, a similar run out has been done earlier. In 2022, West Indies’ Dhurandhar Russell Bangladesh was run out at Non-Streker & Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The ball thrown from the slip by TheSara Perera of Sri Lanka collided with the stumps at both ends.
