Team India cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Priya Saroj have engaged. On 8 June (Sunday), in the presence of family and friends, both of them wore a ring to each other. The ring ceremony was held at the five -star Hotel Kentrum in Lucknow. In this Sermini, a renowned players like Team India’s former cricketers Praveen Kumar and Piyush Chawla attended the famous players like UP Ranji team captain Aryan Juyal. Rinku-Priya’s wedding date has also been finalized. Both are to be married on 18 November in Varanasi.

In the ring ceremony, Rinku Singh was seen in a white dress, while Priya Saroj was wearing a pink dress. As soon as he reached the stage, tears came out in the joy of Priya Saroj. Later both of them posed smiling. Around 300 guests attended the ceremony. These included Samajwadi Party leader chief Akhilesh Yadav, Professor Ram Gopal Yadav, Jaya Bachchan, Vice President of the Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI) Rajiv Shukla.

Both had ordered special rings for each other for engagement. Priya bought a designer ring from Kolkata, while Rinku ordered a special ring from Mumbai. The total cost of both rings is said to be around 2.5 lakh rupees. The menu was also especially prepared as per the choice of the couple. Priya included her favorite Bengali Rasgulla and Cashew Paneer Roll to dish. At the same time, Rinku’s favorite dish Paneer Tikka and Pea Malai were also included in the menu.

Strict security arrangements were made in this program. Only 300 guests were given admission through special pass, in which barcode scanning system was installed. Private security and police were stationed inside and outside the hotel. A special security team was also on alert mode so that no VIP would have any problem.

Priya Saroj specially invited SP President Akhilesh Yadav and MP Dimple Yadav for this special occasion. Apart from this, many senior leaders and MPs of Samajwadi Party were also called. Which includes names like Ram Gopal Yadav and Pushpendra Saroj.

27 -year -old Rinku Singh was part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the recent season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, his performance was not good. Left-handed batsman Rinku Singh scored 206 runs in a total of 11.42 innings and 206 runs in 153.73.

Rinku Singh has so far participated in 2 ODIs and 33 T20 matches for India. During this, he has scored 55 runs in ODI with an average of 27.50. Whereas in T20 International, Rinku has 546 runs from the average of 42.00 in the name of Rinku. Now Rinku can be seen playing in the T20 series against Bangladesh in August.

Talking about Priya Saroj, she won the Machilishahar seat on a social party ticket in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He defeated BP Saroj by a margin of 35850 votes. Priya Saroj was born on 23 November 1998 in Varanasi. Priya completed her schooling from the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi.

He then graduated in Arts from Delhi University. Priya then earned a LLB degree from Noida, Amity University. Priya’s father stormy Saroj has also been a Lok Sabha MP thrice. Stormy is currently an MLA on Samajwadi Party ticket from Kerakat seat.
