Who is Nikhil Sosale: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB )’s IPL 2025 title victory turned into mourning on Wednesday. Outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, 11 people were killed and around 50 others were injured in a stampede. RCB won the final against Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The player and other members of the franchise then reached Bangalore. In the Vidhan Sauda there, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar welcomed the team. After this, all the players reached the stadium. Celebration started on the ground and a stampede occurred outside.

4 RCB officials arrested

After this incident, the police has taken major action. He has arrested four RCB officials. These include RCB’s marketing and revenue chief Nikhil Sosale. According to the police, Nikhil was arrested on the way to Mumbai from Kempagowda International Airport in Bengaluru at around 6.30 am on Friday morning. On Thursday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ordered the arrest of RCB representatives. An FIR was lodged against them in several sections including culpable homicide. Along with Sosale, three members of event management company DNA Entertainment Private Limited have also been arrested.

Who is Nikhil Sosale?

According to LinkedIn Profile, Nikhil Sosale, born on 18 August 1986, has been a marketing and revenue chief of RCB for the last nearly two years. Nikhil is originally an employee of Diazio India, who operates United Spirits Limited (USL). This company owns RCB. After the departure of former owner Vijay Mallya, United Spirits Limited became the full -time owner of RCB.
