RCB Celebration Stampede: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) celebrated the IPL 2025 title on Wednesday. A stampede near M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru lost 11 people. RCB, one of the most followed IPL franchise, ended its 18 -year waiting for the IPL title in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. After this, a big celebration was planned in Bangalore, but the atmosphere of celebration in the city became inconsolable.

Police could not control the mob

About two lakh people reached outside the stadium. The police could not control it, due to which there was chaos and more than 45 fans were also injured. After the incident, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed a press conference and confirmed the death of 11 people. He also told that 35 people have been injured. The government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the dead. This is not the first time that the celebration of a team has turned into mourning. This has happened for the third time in 8 days when a stampede occurred after a team became champion or something untoward. We are telling you about all three incidents.

First event

26 May 2025: A car crushed the crowd during a parade of fans of Liverpool, celebrating the Premier League Football title in England. During this, 27 people had to be hospitalized. Two people were seriously injured. Liverpool won the title for the first time after 2019–20. Her Victory Celebration was converted into mourning by a car rider. The club later expressed grief over the incident and said to support the police.

Second incident

31 May 2025: Thousands of people came on the road in Paris late on 31 May. The football club Paris Saint German (PSG) won the Champions League title for the first time. After this, the fans became uncontrollable and came on the road to celebrate. During this, there was a stampede in the entire city. Two people died and dozens of fans were badly injured. The police took action and arrested more than 500 people.

Third incident

4 June 2025: The RCB team, which won the trophy for the first time in the IPL, organized the celebrations. The players reached the team hotel from the airport and then from there. After this he had to go to the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Even before that, reports of stampede started coming. Despite this, the team reached the stadium and celebrated for some time among thousands of fans. The stampede outside the stadium killed 11 people and injured dozens.
