RCB Celebrations Stampede: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings in the final of IPL 2025 to capture the title for the first time. His long wait ended and the players celebrated vigorously. After this victory at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the team reached Bangalore on Wednesday and the celebration started there. However, it turned into mourning shortly. 11 people lost their lives due to stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Due to this, the brightness of the first trophy faded.
Kohli expressed grief
After this incident, RCB veteran Virat Kohli replied the official statement of RCB franchise on his Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “I don’t have words to say. I am completely broken. ”This small, but deep message from Virat Kohli shows the pain in his heart and his sensitivity to this tragic event.

What did de Villiers write?
After Virat, his friend and former RCB batsman AB de Villiers also expressed grief. He also represented the official statement of RCB like Kohli and wrote, “My condolences and prayers with all the people affected by the tragic incidents at the Chinnaswamy Stadium today.”

Two lakh fans had gathered
RCB fans in Bengaluru came to see their favorite stars being honored. A special ceremony was organized inside the stadium. The stadium had a capacity of 35,000 and people reached around two lakhs. Most of the fans could not go inside. People standing outside tried to reach the stadium, causing a stampede.
